Episys, the global information technology services company, has partnered with Interactive Retail Electronic Solutions & Services, IRESS France, to deliver integrated signage solutions to the French retail industry.
Episys is working with IRESS as part of its global rapport partner programme. The partnership will help French retailers display up-to-date pricing and promotional signage in-store via the use of colour and monochrome digital electronic signage as well as high impact colourful Point of Sale material.
Jean-Paul Boubal, Founder of IRESS explained, “I have experience of introducing electronic labelling to the French retail market since 1996 so I am always looking for new technologies that enable retailers to communicate better, quicker and more accurately with their customers. Accurate signage is vital to a store’s reputation.” Jean-Paul Boubal was involved in the implementation of millions of electronic signs into the French market including Carrefour, Casino , Auchan, Leclerc and Systeme U over 10 years.

About IRESS-France
IRESS was founded two years ago by Jean-Paul Boubal with the objective to go beyond the traditional monochrome electronic displays that can only display price. Retailers were asking for more of a product information display that conveyed features and benefits, e.g in fruit and vegetable departments where provenance is important and in consumer electronics where the features are vital and regularly changing.
